Sente Strides
What's been the most significant change you've witnessed at Sente during your tenure?
Laura Comstock
Director of Onboarding, Engagement and Training
13 years with Sente
“Sente created a culture statement with contributions from employees, allowing us to help build the foundation of the culture that we all embrace. It is fun to hear other employees refer to a specific core value and relate to it on a personal level.”
What's your favorite memory from your time at Sente?
Lisa Curry
Strategic Systems Manager
18 years with Sente
“After 18 years with Sente, I have so many memories. The one I am most proud of was when I was awarded the Kenton K. Brown Spirit Award back in 2017. Having known Kenton, it was such an honor, and it humbles me to this day.”
James Racanelli
Branch Manager/Mortgage Banker
18 years with Sente
“We did a very difficult second lien cashout recently for an 81-year-old couple on a fixed income. Their monthly cash flow changed by $3,500/month. The loan changes their financial picture and helps them sleep at night. I have never seen a couple that happy at closing.”
Brent Berry
Director of Capital Markets
16 years with Sente
“A good memory I have is playing Go with Kenton. We had a board set up in the common area of the main office and would use a piece of candy to show which player’s turn it was. We would each play our turns throughout the days as we had time. I didn’t beat him very often but had fun talking trash when I did get him into Gote!”
What advice would you give to new employees joining Sente today?
Diana Dadoly
Chief Financial Officer
10 years with Sente
“Ask questions—not just about your role but about what happens before and after your part in the process. Understanding the bigger picture helps you contribute more effectively and may uncover opportunities to improve workflows or drive efficiencies. Your curiosity can be a catalyst for innovation.”

“One of my favorite memories of my years at Sente was the shock, surprise, and happiness I felt when I won the Kenton K. Brown Sente Spirit Award in 2016."
"This award means so much to me as Kenton was truly my best friend in business for over 16 years. He was a friend, mentor, and leader to so many of us at Sente and his legacy of education, leadership and love will live at Sente forever.”
Jim Browarski
